Interview with Exeter QB - Mason Rotelli

Mason Rotelli only completed seven passes in Exeter’s District 3-5A quarterfinal against Dover.  However, five of those throws ended up in the end zone.  The (11-0) Eagles crushed seventh-seeded Dover 42-12 at Don Thomas Stadium.  Rotelli’s last four passes all resulted in touchdowns!  The 6’1, 170-pound senior finished 7-of-12 for 133 yards with 5TD and an interception.  He also ran for 55 yards on five carries.  Penn State commit Joey Schlaffer had two catches for 72 yards including a 61-yard score on Exeter’s opening drive.  Richie Karstien added 213 rushing yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.  The undefeated Eagles racked up 409 total yards.  They will host #11 seed Northern York in the District 3-5A semifinals.
